Plastikoil Koilmatic

The Gateway Koilmatic is a fully electric, desktop automatic spiral inserter specifically designed for the digital printing market. This innovative machine provides an affordable and efficient solution for binding up to 450 books per hour using patented technology, without the need for tools or air supply.

The Koilmatic is designed to maximize productivity and ease of use, featuring an LCD screen that guides operators through setup and operation. The machine is compatible with spiral sizes from 8 mm to 20 mm and binding edges in 22 cm, 28 cm, A5, and A4 formats, with a 6.29 mm (0.2475") pitch. Vertical book placement facilitates handling of wider tabs and covers, while simultaneous and consistent crimping on both ends of the spiral ensures a professional finish.

Its user-friendly design allows quick, tool-free setup and changeovers, thanks to an integrated spiral size gauge, an innovative diameter adjustment, and convenient storage for spine formers. The Koilmatic comes complete with 13 spine formers, a photo-illustrated manual, and a training DVD, ensuring operators have the resources needed to maximize the machine’s potential.

With its low-maintenance design, the Koilmatic eliminates the need for costly service contracts. The machine offers convenient presets for the most common binding edges, allowing quick adjustments via pre-set cut-and-bend blocks. Vertical book placement leverages gravity for efficient operation, further enhancing machine productivity.

The Gateway Koilmatic represents the future of spiral binding, combining innovation and simplicity to deliver a powerful, efficient, and easy-to-use solution for the digital printing market.
